James McFarland – Principal Veterinary Surgeon

James graduated from Glasgow University Vet School in 1979 and having worked in practices in Co. Antrim, Somerset and Northamptonshire, he came to Dunstable as an assistant in 1986 when the name of Icknield Vet Group was first coined.

Katy Wragg BVetMed MRCVS – Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Katy graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008.
She joined our practice in 2010 then briefly left to work with an exotic
specialist in North London. Katy returned to Icknield in 2016 as our Small
Animal Senior Vet. Her particular interests lie in Soft Tissue Surgery and she
is currently undertaking an Advanced Practitoner Certificate in just that.

Ricardo Remon MRCVS

Ricardo graduated from the University of Zaragoza, Spain in 1994.  He moved to the UK in 1996 and after working in several different practices,  joined ICKNIELD Veterinary Group in 2002.  Based primarily in Dunstable and Luton surgeries, Ricardo enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular interest in orthopaedic surgery.  At home he has a family cat called Mimi and a rescue dog called Patch.  They enjoy long walks in the countryside (with Patch not Mimi).  Ricardo also enjoys skiing, music and photography.

Caroline Colborne-Baber BVM&S MRCVS

Caroline trained at the Royal School of Veterinary Studies and qualified in June 2004. She then  worked in Newport Pagnell for 3 years before joining Icknield in June 2007.

Caroline has worked solely in small animal practice and enjoys surgery and has developed an interest in small animal acupuncture, which she now offers to clients in the practice.

Out of work, Caroline enjoys hill walking, gardening and cooking (which is often tested on colleagues)!  She owns a wonky-legged black and white rescue cat called Cluedo.

Jennifer Meeson BVetMed MRCVS

Jennifer qualified from the RVC in 2010 and remained in the local area, joining Icknield in August 2011. Jennifer particulary enjoys soft tissue surgery and is based at our Luton and Harpenden surgeries.Originally from Lincolnshire, Jennifer lives in St Albans with her husband, Teddy the cat and her guinea pigs.
