Surgical Consultations

Routine operations, e.g. neutering and dental work, may be booked by telephone between 8am and 7pm and are carried out from 8.30am to 6.00pm, weekdays only. We do not offer inpatient care.

The receptionist will explain about admittance and collection times and withholding food and water. We advise that cats should be kept inside overnight, with access to a litter tray, and that dogs should be taken out to pass urine etc, before being admitted.

New patients or those who have not been seen by a vet for some time, are usually checked by a Veterinary Surgeon before being admitted. Please inform reception if this is the case.

Emergency operations can be carried out at any time and may take precedence over routine procedures when necessary.

Routine consultations are by appointment only, Monday to Saturday. Please contact the branch of your choice, our reception teams will make you an appointment and answer any questions you may have.

Estimates of Treatment Costs

We will happily provide a written estimate as to the probable costs of your pet’s course of treatment. Any estimate given can only be approximate – often a pet’s illness will not follow a conventional course.

Pet Health Insurance

We recommend insuring your pet against unexpected illness or accidents.

We do not undertake direct claims with insurance companies, without prior agreement. Payment should be made in full and claimed from your insurance company.
