James McFarland – Principal Veterinary Surgeon

James graduated from Glasgow University Vet School in 1979 and having worked in practices in Co. Antrim, Somerset and Northamptonshire, he came to Dunstable as an assistant in 1986 when the name of Icknield Vet Group was first coined.

Ricardo Remon MRCVS

Ricardo graduated from the University of Zaragoza, Spain in 1994.  He moved to the UK in 1996 and after working in several different practices,  joined ICKNIELD Veterinary Group in 2002.  Based primarily in Dunstable and Luton surgeries, Ricardo enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular interest in orthopaedic surgery.  At home he has a family cat called Mimi and a rescue dog called Patch.  They enjoy long walks in the countryside (with Patch not Mimi).  Ricardo also enjoys skiing, music and photography.

Caroline Colborne-Baber BVM&S MRCVS

Caroline trained at the Royal School of Veterinary Studies and qualified in June 2004. She then  worked in Newport Pagnell for 3 years before joining Icknield in June 2007.

Caroline has worked solely in small animal practice and enjoys surgery and has developed an interest in small animal acupuncture, which she now offers to clients in the practice.

Out of work, Caroline enjoys hill walking, gardening and cooking (which is often tested on colleagues)!  She owns a wonky-legged black and white rescue cat called Cluedo.
